Weekly tasting group #193; some Bordeaux (@ My place): Just a few words; celery and lovage. Ok acidity, but a bit organic and too old. This bottle has always been stored too warm and probably also upright. So no score; a properly stored bottle will probably be better.
Very pleasant, fully mature, modern style St Emilion. Dark, thick, sweet, juicy, caramel, coffee, plums, black berries. Remote grassy, unripe tones in the nose indicate the vintage. Won't improve, but will last 2-4 more years if well stored.
