Well here’s a bit of a mystery. MFW has the regular BJS Auslese as 09 and the GKA as 10, but this is 12 and had a gold capsule. Did they make multiple GKAs in 2003? Because it’s like someone secretly rinsed my glass with green Chartreuse before pouring - it’s pale yellow and smells strongly of thyme and mint and a thousand other slightly bitter green herbs. Under all that is a honeyed softness that speaks of the vintage. There’s some graceful yellow apple fruit and a barley sugar note underneath all that, but it’s wild and sauvage but delicious.

fresh floral and petrol mix on the nose, medium thickness in the mouth , little acidity and a bit sweeter than expected but layers of flavor and drinks very nice now. well made

Light greenish yellow. Fresh as can be, devoid of botrytis, with plenty of flowery character, as well as apricots, wormy earth, and sweat. Rocky avalanche of crystalline flavors in the mouth. This is not quite painfully young but will be so much better in a decade, or two.
