  A very nice domestic syrah. It has the trademark Ambyth uncut garnet color but perhaps a bit darker and more purple than their estate wines. Plum, black cherry, perhaps some pear??? Some midpalate spice and with air tobacco. A little toward the simple side but a pleasure to drink. Wonderful on day two as well.
