too young! too young! good underlying material though. good fruit and acidity (bearing in mind that it is a 2003), noticeable (but manageable) tannins. fragrant, delicate nose. will try the next bottle in 3-4 years.
this was a strange one. on the first day, it was relatively open. you could tell it was from a ripe vintage - fruity with hints of oak and significant tannins. drank 1/3 on the first day. on the second day, it went to sleep?. Fruit had receded, but the oak was dominant. Going to try it on the thrd day to see how it has developed.
On the strength of the 1st day alone, im going to rate it a 87-89. Well structured, pleasing finish. Though fruity, one could discern its urgundian nature. Very nice.
