  • Bright yellow gold color. Nose of refreshing lime, tangerine, honey, apple and floral. Palate entry with waxy apple, crisp acidity and apricot. Mid-palate with orange, thyme and eucalyptus. Long finish of tangerine, mineral, anise, brined olive and soy sauce. Very nice aperitive, with good body, acidity and length, surprised this wine aged so well and gained complexity, try again in a few years.

  • Pop'd and poured cold, this wasn't giving much. Initially very austere. This got much better the closer it got to room temperature and took on more air. Neat aromatics of yellow fruit, honey and floral. Oily, weighty palate with subtle but complex fruit flavors. Almost salty finish that is really fun. Everything here is in good balance and really pleasurable to drink at this price point. My recommendation is not to lay judgement until you've had a glass near room temp, as that is when I appreciated it the most. 89+

  • Pleasant wine & good value.

Has gooseberry and some floral features. Feels buttery & almost oily, but with some fruit in there also - soft apple & hints of blueberry. Quite nice.

  • Light nose of white flowers and pear... in the mouth, yellow apple, light acidity and a hint of fat, very simple with a hint of alcohol

  • -- popped and poured --
    -- tasted non-blind over a few hours --

NOSE: flowery honeysuckle; gooseberry/ripe pear; expressive/ some mineral; expressive and moderately intense; reminds me of Tablas Creek’s Esprit Blanc; Nose seems to show more “pop” near fridge temp. than it does around room temp.; very nice.

BODY: orange-tinged yellow color of medium depth; medium-full bodied.

TASTE: oily – almost unctuous; green banana; very minerally; light French oak coconut; background hint of persimmon; hint of incense; would like more acidity; 13% alc. is not noticeable; varietally correct; solid but unspectacular on the palate; medium-short to medium length finish (25 sec.) of moderate intensity; might gain some richness with a few years of age, but I think it lacks the acidity to go long. This was aged for 6 months on its lees in vats and barriques. Excellent value.
