this bottle was actually quite good. a little more rounded with exotic fruit and tropical notes; but the acidity kept it very refreshing. while the real lemony flavors have now dissipated, this bottle was quite enjoyable, w a nice long finish. will be drinking the rest of mine soon.

(François Raveneau Chablis 1er Cru Butteaux) Light yellow color; lovely, maturing, apple, light honeysuckle, green fig nose; tasty, rich but balanced, medium-plus bodied, ripe lemon, saline, mineral palate with a touch of gunpowder; medium-plus finish 92+ points (no '04 Burgundy "green meanies" here as yet)
