Light yellow color in the glass, clear looking throughout. Nose of nutmeg, yellow pear and yellow apples. Flavors of lemon water, yellow pears and minerals. Medium acidity, medium to full bodied. Drink now.

Opened and then recorked for 3 hours before serving. Reticent nose. Great well balanced palate with gravel, melon and lemon. This bottle was really nice. Ready now but plenty of life left in this wine. Excellent.

A Celebration of Jose; 5/19/2022-5/21/2022 (Madison, WI): My notes are slim here. Great nose and fine palate, with attractive flint and tropical notes, very generous, just a bit short on the finish, no hint of oxidation. Overall a superb Chablis, showing its grand cru quality.

Quick drinks while collecting wine: No signs of premox. Lovely floral and honeyed nose, age has gave it a waxy and unctuous texture. Fruit is still present but slightly fading. Lacks the weight and power that I expected but still a very pleasurable drink.

Wine was in a good condition. No sign of premox. Still fresh. However tastes flat, muted, lacks depth. Probably already going downhill.
