This was young but surprisingly enjoyable. Quite modern in style, with lush though fresh berry fruit and underlying tobacco, dried herbs, and floral spice. Medium bodied, with adequate acidity and present tannins. Good, but needs some time on its side. Hold.
Solid. Young, obviously, but showing well now and has good raw materials that bode for good development. The palate is, surprisingly, showing brown notes along with red, with cocoa, earth and light truffle notes along with the primary plum fruit. The tannins are thick and grainy at this point, although they smooth out as the wine airs in the carafe. Chunky mouthfeel. At Sparks Steakhouse.
Great wine, I enjoyed it so much. Really good nose with many things coming from the glass, strong tannins. At the first moment it was a little bit closed but it was growing in intesity with some time and air. The last glass I had two days after opening the bottle was wonderful with great intensity on the nose and with a smoother mouth but with this high accidity. This wine is young but is enjoyable now and obviously it will be better with some years. I´m going to buy a couple of bottles more to forget them in my cellar and see the evolution.
