Medium yellow. Very fragrant combination of white flowers, broth, and citrus. Medium body, lovely glycerine feel. Dry. Lemon peel and bitter orange, seashore tones, excellent acidity and length. Another complete bargain from Louis Michel. Not a big Grand Cru but refined and balanced.

Dull yellow. Lemon and strong iodine which had me thinking that this was corked until it sorted itself out. I was looking for a wine lean enough to pair with oysters and rich enough for a scallop poke bowl. Et voilà! This was just the ticket.

Opened 3-4 hours before we drank it - just outstanding example of a mature Chablis. Terrific salinity (oyster shell) and minerality, paired with faint notes of lemon and tropical fruit. Relatively big for Chablis and among the best Grenouilles I have had.

Lukket ved åpning, men noen timer på karaffel gjør susen. Våt stein, fjære, kjørvel, modne sitroner, søte pærer og noe som minner om furunål. Flott mineralitet. Bløt frukt og lett friskhet. Moden karakter, men løftet og detaljert. Elegant fløyel. Veldig god lengde, subtil finish. Galloni mener den viser en feminin sårbarhet(?). Innsmigrende er den i hvert fall. Ikke helt det jeg ser etter i en Chablis, men en elegant og trivelig vin. Vil den stramme seg opp? 90p.

Maybe this was an off bottle but I found it fat and flabby for chablis. Did not love any of these wines.
