  • Tasted at a friends party along with a great line up of Napa and Sonoma wines whose wineries he will be visiting in August. This was medium to dark Garnet with little to no bricking. Moderately ripe dark fruit and floral nose with smokey oak and vanilla. Tannins mostly integrated and soft, moderate acidity level with decent life. Soft and chewy mouth feel with flavors of black plum, black currant, graphite and a tinge of chocolate on the finish. I'd say its in the latter phase of its drinking window as the acidity is starting to disappear.
