  • Decanted for one hour. Rather subtle but decent nose of ripe red and dark berries. Medium bodied, very supple, smooth and juicy, delivering crunchy red and dark berries with a nice gentle dusty bite and firm acidic backbone. A very discreet kiss of oak emerging with a bit of airtime. Great texture and balance. In a good spot and can certainly hold for some years. Yummy!

  • Juicy red (and darker) fruit notes, along with some bitter cherry and spice. The palate is surprisingly full-bodied, even for a Moulin-à-Vent. Dusty tannins and the typical acidity keep up the structure. Long finish, with some wood becoming noticeable. The juiciness is there, the structure is there, and the wood is integrated quite nicely, but there could be a bit more freshness.
