  Medium-light ruby color with no garnet. Fresh-fruit raspberry and strawberry with notes of damp earth. Well-structured tannin and acid backbone. Excellent balance, medium-light body. Purchased as a memento from the winery outlet in downtown Galena in August 2014 (no vintage date on the label), but it's a serious wine. It's unlikely that the grapes originate from the winery in this climate, and the website and label do not indicate. Perhaps a comment here from the winery about the grape source and vintage? Good QPR for a pinot.
