PnP. Which may not be the best idea for this as it has a mind of its own and it needs a little down time to think about the evil it might do. Hints of mint, leather and green pepper in the nose. Does not follow up on the palate. Thick and chewy. Fruit dominates. Blackberries and cherries with a touch of anise. Mild tannins. Somewhat jammy finish. Had with Cod and it was fine. Does not dominate or overwhelm. A sippin' wine by itself.

Had this wine on a Sunday lunch with family at Mu Liang Zai.
Made in an easy to drink style. Mix of 6 types of grapes (Shiraz, Cabernet Sauvignon, Grenache, Cinsaut, Mourvèdre, Viognier) in the wine makes it an interesting proposition for wine drinkers: haven't been able to recall the last time I had a wine with so many varietals in the bottle. A very successful blend nevertheless, as each varietal went about carrying out their own duties faithfully. Has a warm Cabernet Sauvignon nose and spicy Shiraz in the palate. Strong notes of berries and cherry with a sweet sensation in the mouth. Short finish.
Should pair well with roasted meat and ham/ bacon.

Dark red at the rim - SA smoke on the nose. Full bodied with bright juicy fruit, fresh on the palate, well behaved tannins - quite a short finish.

Rich full body blend. Hint of smoke in the taste. Very good with a nice steak.

Drinkable syrah, maybe the 4% grenache saved it...probably not ageworthy but for the price....
