Clear, medium golden yellow color with amber reflexes. Clean, intense and fully matured nose of ripe, yellow fruits, honey, petrol and in the background some very slight notes of firn and oxidation. Dry with medium- acidity. Body starts to fell apart, weak at the mid palate, finish is quite long but also with not very integrated aromas of ripe fruits, typical bitter Orange zests. I think, this wine is past its peak, so drink up now!
Leitz tasting (NU Bistro, Budapest): Developed, but somewhat unusual, not a classic aged dry white profile. Smells like a sweet Tokaji, with interesting earthy, shoe polish notes, as well as some petrol. More complex than the younger versions, but the palate is not utterly convinving. Somewhat mellowing, acidity highish, still it's oily and a bit flabby, lacks zest. Also a bit metallic and salty, which is somewhat distracting. Hard to rate, some could adore the complexity, others dislike the taste. I'm kind of in the middle.
