Dark gold, rich, complex, umami-laden, excellent. It's amazing how a good muscadet can transform from a relatively boring quaffer into something as complex as this. All you need is 20 years of patience...

Deep brilliant gold color Medium aromas of green apple with extreme minerality and salinity - also creaminess on the nose presumably from extended lees contact - minimal if any oxidation and remains quite fresh Medium palate - creamy lees - all rocks/saline with really no fruit evident on the palate Medium plus acidity with bitterness on the back palate and medium length Beautiful aged Muscadet and really holding up well

Nice bottle of this. Continuing to gently age. Still life here with nice broadness on finish as it softens. Showing some nuttier notes. Drink other bottles over 3-4 years.

From the get-go it’s pretty clear this is in a good place. Beautiful color, nose is full of crushed stone and minerality. Reminds me of a great village level white burg.
Nice weight and acidity on the palate. There’s no fruit here, just tons of minerality on a lightweight frame.

Zestier bottle of this than one a few months ago. Very nice. Continue to love drinking these at this stage.
