OK wine, putting as neutral. pretty acidic, but no tannins that will really balance it out. Better over time, multi-hour decant, may soften in bottle, but just not sure. My guess, leave it be, or really give it a lot of air.
Unremarkable but pleasant quaff, with little complexity and lots of sediment. Structure is nice, medium body with perceptible tannins on the finish balancing +acidity - drink it with food. The fruit will hold on for a bit but I don't know for how long. Will give it a go next year to see how it's holding together.
This bottle of wine was opened and drank over five nights. It held together for the entire time. Very nice. Lots of sediment which I usually associate with wines that are getting on with their age. Dark and sweet fruits. Not any stewed prunes. Many years of cellar time left.
