One of the better Napa Sauvignon Blancs I have had. Tropical fruit a go-go with an unctuousness that is almost Viognier-like. Unbelievable weight for the variety, but still racy acidity. Really impressed. Outstanding. thedrunkencyclist.com

The ’10 is a different animal from the start. Melon and eucalyptus jump up to meet the nose. More acidity on the palate than the ’09 and not quite as much fruit as the nose suggested, thus adding to its refinement, ends with a chalky finish. Outstanding.

I bought this a few years ago at the winery, and decided to finally pop one for Sauvignon Blanc day. Too cold to start, but it eventually opened up. Melon, lemon, and Kiwi jump right out. A bit chalky on the palate, but nice tartness and a strong finish. Very good. thedrunkencyclist.com

A bright lemon-lime color in the glass. So fresh, smells of grapefruit, lemon peel, green melon, a bit of underlying honey, some sweet basil and limestone notes. Creamy body but tart and refreshing acid. Rich and honeyed, but so fresh, with lemon, apricot, white peach, and a lovely mix of mountain stream, minerals, sea shells and white flowers. Clean, but long and complex.

PnP. Probably served too cold. Pale yellow/gold in the glass. Nose of pineapple, citrus. More citrus, sweet citrus on the palate. Medium weight with acidity and tart citrus on the finish.
