  • Ruby color. Nose: ripe currant and black raspberry reduction accented with sundried tomato, hot pickled green bean, new leather, and anise. Medium/full body on the palate: rich black raspberry and currant with pickled green bean, new leather, tobacco leaf, graphite, and a touch of fresh mint. Moderate dusty mouth-coating tannins. Focused acidity...a hint of orange peel. Lingering graphite and tobacco leaf on the moderate/long finish. Satisfying, full-throttle North Fork Cab Franc. Conveys well the terroir and the very high quality of the near-perfect 2010 vintage. Balanced and drinking beautifully already. Enjoy over the next 3-5 years.
