Dark inky hue. Ripe, dark fruits, sweet nose. This wine seems a little past its prime. Little prune, ripe, dark berries, chocolate. I've got another bottle-- should probably drink up.

Quite ripe and extracted with dark fruits, dark chocolate and a hint of sweetness, just enough acidity to keep it falling over the edge. Not enjoyable for my current palate, but definitely a crowd pleaser when served to more casual wine drinkers.

12 Days of Christmas - 2018; 12/21/2018-1/1/2019 (NYC, Vermont, Lake Placid): Final fire pit wine before being called to gather for the annual family photo. The 20 somethings all liked this best - but for me my least favorite. This is quite ripe with dark extracted fruit, leaning a touch sweet. Something I would have enjoyed 10 years ago, now not so much.

Made the mistake of following a syrah and cndp. The cab really stood out. Yummy, not fading.
