Tastes like liquid brautwurst. The nose is overwhelmingly nutmeg and white pepper - hiding all fruit. On the palate, the fruit is forward and somewhat orchard/tropical but undone by the harsh finish and massive notes of sausage.

Buttery nose with some sweeter tones. The palate is full but not necessarily oaky, it feels more like glycerin. Nice citrus notes, some tangerine and ultimately some oak. Missing a bit of acidic pop for me but a good wine.

An evening with Brian Loring (Montana's Steak House (Hermitage, PA)): Golden in color. The nose has a Cream Soda note with lots of buttery. I was surprised that the oak was not as dominant as I was expecting. Slight lemon chiffon notes. On the palate, this is nice with some mineral notes and still lots of fruit (lemons and grapefruits). Some alcohol on the finish. This is typical but better than most California Chards. Others liked it more than I stylistically.

Darker color, not corked. Tasted like an age viognier. Interesting. I can drink it but don’t favor it. Sell

Darker color, OK flavor, not a lot of depth on the palate. Wife says sell and I say drink now.
