Medium dark color. A bit of H2S stink in the nose even at 4 years of age. (Does the fact that it has a screwcap mean that not enough oxygen has gotten to the wine post-bottling?) Very soft and somewhat sweet. More acidity would have helped a lot. Overall for the wine, meh. Overall rating for the label design, great!
Cherry red color with cherry liqueur, cranberry, and white pepper aromas. On the palate, it's medium-bodied with a creamy texture, and mixed berry cranberry, pomegranate, and spice flavors. Lingering finish.
A decent simple wine, but I was looking for more fruit. Screwcap enclosure. Light to medium cherry red in color. Nose of earth and light cherry. Soft gulpable palate of blackberry, earth, ash and tar. Not flawed, but not memorable either. A quaffer.
