Dinner with the Gilchoa's; 2/16/2014-2/18/2014 (My House): When we first popped this bubble it had a certain oxidative smell to it but we were wrong, it blew off rather quickly and tuned into a beauty. The wine had a pretty salmon orange color to it that showed its age perfectly. The perfume on it gave away hazelnut and floral notes. You could taste that this wine as if it sat on the lees for a long time, maybe someone could tell me? If you have this wine I would drink it up unless it was stored in a very cold cellar.
