See my 10/31/14 tasting notes. Spot on for this wine. So good right now. Not likely to improve, but so what? Not sure how long it will stay this way if it's properly cellared, and yet, why wait? A big, on the sweeter side (I was OK with that), Sonoma bordeaux blend.
Big wine. Big fruit. Unfortunately, big alcohol too. I think the alcohol is masking some of the secondary notes to come through. There's a little sweetness in the beginning. 2 hour decant didn't help the alcohol any, just mask the fruit even more and became slightly bitter. However, it's finely made wine. Smooth tannins and bright acids to keep everything refreshing.
