Medium bright yellow colour, with thick legs. This Piesporter Riesling may surprise the nose with an initial sulphur attack, which could turn off an unsuspecting reveller. However, with a few minutes decanting in the glass, the savoury bouquet of this Mosel-grown wine is revealed in full splendour, displaying herbs, stone fruit, spicy flowers, minerality, and zesty citrus. The taste is equally complex with good weight, balanced acidity, and a long lime finish. Score 89. (S.Segard, reviewed Mar. 02, 2017)

A very funky high-pitched nose with a similar flavor on the palate. Maybe some orange cream? Good acid with a roundish mouthfeel. Not quite sure what to make of this one.
