Color shows slight age, Blackberry jam, dark cherry, hint of jasmine tea and plum on nose, some heat on nose, med+ acid, lots of black fruit with nice balance on palate, med finish. Some heat on finish. Richer than I expected for Sonoma Mountain. One of the best wines I've had from La Follette, but tips the scales at 14.6 ABV.

very enjoyable juicy pinot. drinking beautifully right now.. followed a 2011 domaine latour-giraud puligny-montachet champs canet 1er cru, and this definitely pleased the crowd...1st bottle I opened of this was badly flawed, but this certainly didn't disappoint.

A sign of a high quality Pinot. This was initially simple and non-descript but within a short 25mins or so, it virtually exploded with aromatics and flavors. Great fruit - macerated red raspberries with a tart cherry edge. Zingy acidity and a long, bright finish. I can't remember the last bottle but this one was impressionable.

This wine continues to impress. 3rd bottle in last 12 months. Hitting it's stride. Drink now but delicious over 3 days. Dropped off a little on day 4.
