(Small Oregon tasting with a Volnay reference) Deep and dense nose. Dark cherry, plum, spice and minerally impression. Quite complex with hidden layers of cranberry, liquorice and strawberry. Medium-fullish body. Developed. A hint of sourness. Cherry and spice. Gently oaky. Of medium-long intensity and finish. Very good structure on this. In a perfect place.

Less expressive than my last bottle 2 years ago. Here, the acidity was to the fore, given it a narrow simple presentation. Still has a nice mix of tart cherry and forest floor. Might just need some more time.

This is really quite nice and approachable now. Fresh nose with saline and cherry. Palate still has acidity to the forefront, giving it plenty of energy, but softens on the backend to a nice pure red fruit character. Strong mineral character on the finish. Drink or hold. Really delicious.

4th Saturday Group brown bagger (M/M thelostverse): Notes of cherry, rhubarb and red plum- somewhat ripe but not overly or unpleasantly so. There's good acidity on the palate providing lift for the cherry and red fruit. Has just a hint of earthiness too. Finishes well with good length and balance. Excellent. Guessed OR Pinot.
