Brick color with orange around the edges. Strawberry, Mineral, hints of maduro tabacco, anise with sour cherry on a med sized wine, ready to drink. Great value for Barolo!

Drank at a restaurant. Decent value at $75. We had 3 bottles with good consistency. The wine is approachable now with good fruit showing and nice balance. Our group really enjoyed the wine. Not the most complex Barolo but a good wine

When first opened, strong tannins and sour cherry flavor was too strong. Over the time it improved and even got better after some swirling in the glass.
Solid tannins with nice fruit as the wine opened up in the glass. Good value for money, but still very young. Would buy again, but could use many more years in the cellar. 2007 wines from Piedmont had a good growing season and are known for being approachable when young.
This one could use some more time. Would have rated an 85 on opening and a 90 - 91 after the long decant with the meal

Wasn't expecting much with the $29 price... but it was really really good. so good, i went back and bought a case. It's drinking well now, but probably better in a few years
