  • Soft light yellow hue, lightly cloudy. Extremely mineral nose - wet wool, oyster shells and limestone. Nice develoment, oily lemon peels and dash of canned pineapple/pech juices. Leesy, yeasty notes. Fresh, slightly spritzy , chalky acids, rich in aromas, textbook chardonnay fruit, quite like a blanc de blancs champagne without bubbles. Long and engaging finish with lots of minerals playing around. (88-89)

  • Seriously underrated this maconnais at first. Fantastic nose, all chalky minerals and zesty chardonnay in a cool yet ripe personality. Puristic style, some development but no oxidation. Vibrant acidity and seaside minerality, no oak to speak of. Equally interesting and refreshing, this will get even better over a year or two. Two bottles left, wish we had more.

  • Vinik "outlet" tasting: Pure, fresh and stony chardonnay with no perceptible oak but lots of fresh limestone acidity, minerals and a hint of spritz. Nice and simple, although quite elegant, and still very young. Try with oysters. Made from organically grown grapes. AB-certified (Ecocert) and certified biodynamic (Demeter) since 2006.
