Great combination of old and new worlds. Pine, eucalyptus, plum and some oak on the nose. Definitely at its peak although improved with about an hour of air.

Felidia Truffles and Barolo Dinner: A wine with a long mineral profile, hinting of oak though not sure if any oak was used. Addition of barbera lengthens the body, adding a bit of a burgundian-like feel to a lovely, extracted fruit. Tastes like a modern style barolo, may not appeal to a traditional barolo enthusiasts.
