  Ripe and fully mature at this point. Marzipan, fresh butter, bruised apples, and pear on the nose. Its broad and rich on the palate. Powerful, rich and dense, overall pretty baroque. It's well balanced in a rich and dense style with less lift than I would prefer. That said, this is serious, structured, rich and powerful wine on the down slope of peak for me. No reason to wait.
