Still light yellow. Nose is peach and apple with a touch of hazelnut and a dollop of new oak. Unfolded well on the palate and not too alcoholic. Good balance. Young but very pleasing and a nice accompaniment to tuna.
HDH auction tasting at Tru; 5/17/2013-5/18/2013 (Chicago, IL): Quite young. Pale yellow with a tinge of green. Some sulphur on the nose still. Aromas of tart white peaches, tangerines, and a little bit of vanilla. The palate is very delicate, without any buttery texture. Lovely green acidity, this is a very pretty Meursault.
