Much better at room temperature than even slightly chilled! At room temp it's a fairly decent, fruity traditional Spanish red. Pretty full grape, only slight hint of oak, and blood red color in the glass.

3rd time tried from my cellar. A nice wine to relax with at home with strip steak, sauteed shrooms and escarole with garlic when you don't want to open your more expensive bottles. Soft and smooth at this point in time. Nice semi-light garnet color. Plum, cherry and earth on a light, but tasty palate. Very nice qpr at $10.00 per. For the price, what more could you ask for?

(LAS ROCAS GARNACHA) #2; NOSE-dirty, off-centered, hint of black cherry & strawberry; TASTE-exceptionally blended into mouth-feel (structure and flavor), lot of strawberry, black pepper, hint of white truffle (that alone worth $7), very well made, JR-90; GV-89+

Definitely over the hill, but still had good acid and tannins.

muted dark fruit notes. dominated by plum, with some berry. not much there beyond the fruit. medium (-) finish.
