The blend is Sangiovese 60%, Merlot 20%, Cab Sauv 20%, comes with typical Tuscan floor that meet some cherry action in a harmonious way. The flavors are clean and focused with good acidity, a winner on the dinner table and a great buy.

Rich, dark red. Mixed red and black berries on the nose. Pure ripe blackberries on the nose. Distant notes of coffee. As bizarre as this will read, there are also notes of brown gravy. Red fruits come out on the end-palate and into the finish. Gripping (but not overwhelming) tannins indicate this will age well for at least 6 years, but I'm not sure the underlying acidic structure is strong enough to support longer-term storage (certainly not beyond 10 years). There is also a general alkaline note to this wine that results in a chalky mouth-feel.

Ripe plums and blackberries braces with bramble on the nose. Notes of sour blackberry mixed with raspberries, a bit of chive, of all things, and plenty of bramble. Solid tannins with good body that guide you to a woodsy, brambley finish. A good everyday drinking wine, if a bit thin-bodied relative to the strength of the tannins.
Caveat: tried on a Delta flight from Tokyo to Minneapolis-St. Paul.

Notes f strawberry, and licorice complimented by hints of dried herbs and spices. A velvet finish of a gret full bodied Super Tuscan!
