Medium/dark garnet. Nose showing red and blue fruit, leather and graphite. Elegant palate of blackberry, floral/violet, caramel, mineral. Elegant texture, Dark fruit persist through mid palate.
Decant helped this, much more open about 30 minutes in. Drank after a mag of the 06 Spring Mountain Cab. This was an excellent showing on this evening.

Like previous bottles. Great dark fruits - blackberry and ripe plums - concentrated, toasty oak, and some Brett in the background (adding complexity). Smooth, tannins and acids diminished, great leafy finish. Cork broke, but wine okay. Great now.

Deep dark red center, red rim with some signs of age. Great nose of black cherries, plums and blackcurrants, creamy. Smooth, damsons and macerated black berries, touch of bandaid, something a little floral, cigar box, rosemary, black olives, modest tannin and acid, great length. Drinking well now but has another 5 years of life.

It's mellowed and softened now. Simple but solid. I prefer drinking this at 13 years age than drinking a cab that's too young. Looking at the price I paid for these bottles 6 years ago, however, I am disappointed. The first night, this wine was okay. The second night, the nose had become alcoholic and there was no length. I think that, for this price, I could have done better.

Guys Dinner - Joe/David/Jim D/Bill/Harry (Casa Vasquez - Princeton NJ): Fun to drink this bottle with this group, visited the winery together several years back. Second wine with dinner, splash decanted, open about 30 minutes prior to drinking.

Elegant cab blend. Red & black berries, with some herbal notes. Very enjoyable.
