Rockss and Fruit

(Domaine de Pegau Chateauneuf-du-Pape) Closed but phenomenal wine. This nose brought the funk. Barnyard city that developed into beautiful cherry liquor. Incredibly floral and super high-toned. Acacia, roses, even violets after a while. Blueberries and boysenberries showed up too. Kept changing and changing. Massive palate with layers upon layers of dense black cherry, red cherry and sweet, ripe tannins. Long finish. Tannic - - yes . . . but still a monumental wine.
