Floral nose leading initially to an early harvest peach palate impression quickly followed with fresh cut flowers, minerality and astringent acidity. This is a representative example of a Viognier and how distinctly different it is from other white varietals. It is definitely not a soft wine, but rather reflects grip and masculinity.
Light straw color and wonderful vibrant fruit of peach and apricot and some flowers. In the mouth there is a touch of creaminess and plenty of acid and minerality but a little light on the finish. Nice wine on this 70 degree day in Cali. :-)
