2 Days in the Valley- Day 1 (Willamette Valley, OR): Nose: There is some real tightness to this, but what is underneath is really good with tones of dark red cherries, dark red fruits, spice tones, and plums. There is some real depth and expression as well to it as starts to open a little more.
Taste: Medium bodied with medium/high acidity and some good silky tannins. Well balanced with excellent depth and polished tones of dark red cherries, dark red fruits, plums, spice tones and a touch of raspberries.
Overall: This is a gorgeous young wine. It needs several years to start to unwind, but there is some real class in this wine.
