Dark garnet color, purple rim Sweet, pleasant nose, dark fruit. On palate medium weight, round, fruity, good weight and uncomplicated to drink. Finish not overly long, but: what can you expect? Goes well with almost anything.

I don't taste much Syrah here, besides a faint hint of smokiness that might just be imagined. But this is a very enjoyable value-priced Cabernet, full of gulp-able purple fruits and a nice dry finish. At least that is the case when I buy the wine from Vin Vino Wine in Palo Alto, because all of the bottles that I bought from another retailer were highly unpleasant (either a bad batch or bad handling).

Introduction to France Tasting (Prince Wine Store - Essendon): A really cracking value BBQ wine, with a hint of chocolate and Asian spices, supple tannins and a long and full palette that finishes with a raspberry note.
