  On the nose I pick up some hints of charred oak but the big dark fruits balance this nicely. On the palate I notice primarily these dark fruits, obvious structure, and moderate acidity. The finish is long, maybe 15 seconds. I'm truly impressed by this wine, which I didn't expect when I picked it up on an employee recommendation. I may seek out more.
