  Surprisingly strong pinot with rich acids but also lots of sugar and alcohol. Finish not so strong.
  
  Priced around $40 in DK, don't know if i'll buy again for a proper taste considering the price.

  High alcohol (bottle says 14.5% but my guess is easily over 15%). Not much fruit on the nose or palate. Over-extracted to mislead the taster into thinking its fruity based on initial sweet attack. Nothing of substance is really there, though. That manipulation by the winery alone drops it a couple of points in my book.

  A little simple on the nose with red fruit, but on the palate ahhhhh - berries, spice, touch of vanilla, violet and earth. Silky mouth feel - an elegant wine at a great price.
