Deep sunflower yellow, showing its advancing age. Retains some freshness, but acidity is now much reduced and the wine is quaffable and enjoyable, if unremarkable.

Heavy sulfur on the nose at first but I don't mind as I believe it will prevent premox, and the sulfur blows off. Vibrant and young. Low oak. Very nice minerals. Mouthfeel of a 1er Chablis from a good producer- well it's priced like one too. I'm very happy.

On the palate; supple fruit is countered with lively energetic acidity giving way to a long rewarding finish. Entering a nice phase now as tart fruit and sharp minerality present in its youth have waned.
