My fault for opening this during a noisy party with kids running around - and then only after finishing a champagne with sushi, then a super Tuscan with prime rib, but a friend asked me to open another white. Immediately upon opening, nose seemed (in comparison to the previous wines) miserly and delicate, and the palate seemed smooth and the finish was complex and long which was the only thing that presented the premier cru quality I expected. Saving the last third of the bottle for the next day, the Meursault Perrieres quality showed through, but it was about finesse and length and delicacy. Not a blockbuster style, very restrained.
