An interesting and personal red Côtes-du-Rhône. Surprisingly, the nose is dominated by the aromas of perfume and lovely flowers. The medium-bodied mouthfeel is tannic and acid, leaving a slightly astringent aftertaste. The mouthfeel displays strong flavors of fresh eucalyptus, menthol and tar, while the notes of flowers and perfume remain there as well. The wine is not very fruity, but the many-sided, original and interesting palette creates an intensive feeling.
Perhaps this is not for everybody, but only in very rare cases you may get such a personal and characteristic Côtes-du-Rhône for such a small money.

Deep red color. Medium body. Very expressive nose; lots of spice and candied fruit. On the palate, still lively, with ripe black fruits, pepper, charcoal, and licorice, though marred by a touch of heat. The finish really lingers. It becomes quite drinkable and food-friendly with 30-45 minutes of air. A good, solid (but not spectacular) wine; for $12 a worthwhile value.

Ripe red fruits with black pepper accents. A little ripe but it is offset with good acidity. Doesn't have the depth that the other CdRs from this producer have but this one is only $12.
