  • Since last tasting, this wine has changed to the positive a bit. Still full bodied, lots of fruit, but luckily the bitterness in the end has disappeared a bit. It seems that this wine is really made for cellaring. Enjoyed it. Considering the given fruit and color I am sure the drinking window will not close soon. I am glad I bought two cases and still have lots of it.

Better than most Cote Du Rhone (Villages) I've had so far.

    90+

Btw: Did not get better on day 2. Definetly a day 1 wine.

  • Perfect Cotes du Rhone. Will even improve next years.

  • Smoother and better integrated oak as compared to last try. Nice dark fruit with coffe flavours. Medium length and good balance. Seems like prime time now but will likely last for another few years.

  • Brought to dept happy hour. I guess my palate has changed because this did very little for me. It's solid, but mostly fruit driven and not a flavor profile (gamey) that I'm crazy about these days
