This is solid and impressive. Tons of fruit, and likely would serve well with further cellaring, which is my plan for my remaining bottles. 3-5 years and it should be hitting its stride.

2010 Domaine Giraud is one of the greatest 100% Grenache wines that I have ever had. It redefines what is possible with Grenache. Smokey, plum, leather, licorice, mint. Very rich and powerful, but in perfect balance on the finish. You can drink this today, but it should continue to improve over the next few years and then keep for a couple decades.

Dark red ruby color, deep structure, leather, dark red fruits. Overall complex and a very long finish, some licorice. Well integradted tanins. The wine can surely lay down for a few years more.

This wine is massive in scale yet in balance, if you can live with 15% alc. It's still pretty monolithic, so give it a good decant or wait a few years.
