  Picked up on a whim, 30 minutes decanting still wonderfully aromatic and funky on the nose, with cooked blue and dark fruit, hints at leather and earth. Has a sort of hot candle wax smell from the age. Palate is fairly simple but totally enjoyable and long enough at the price point. Good balance, touch tannic still in 2017 - pairs well with food. Good value at $30 USD. Has years in the cellar remaining. Recommended-

  PnP, this is a rich wine filled with plums, dark cherry and earth elements that starts off with stiff tannins and balanced acidity that mellows in the glass to bring the tannins into a more fine grained aspect. A rich mouthfeel matches the lush nose that is represented, with a nice, long finish.

  Amazing bouquet. Good texture. Ripe plum, cherry. Nice finish. Very, very typical vac - aromatic, complex, lingering.
