Community Tasting Notes (1)

  • All notes taken second day, vacuum sealed.

Nose is sleek and elegant and although there's some heat from the 14.5 abv., it doesn't detract from the focused plum notes, with secondary aromas of violets and dried herbs. There are even hints of pastry dough hiding deep within. The palate delivers as the nose promises and an elegant texture shines through plush and juicy, but not over ripe or jammy at all. Clean pure fruit up front with subtle savory herbs and rocky mineral in the rear. juicy tannins and great length.

This is probably my third time trying this bottle and I love it more every time. Very nice wine, especially considering the price tag.
