  • Dark ruby in color. On the nose, blackberries, wet leather, minerals, white flowers, pepper, and and a bit of roasted coffee. Supple and round with good delineatoin on the palate. Medium to full bodied, with a rich midpalate presence and a bit gamey in a good way. More blackberries, anise, leather, rare meat, and white pepper. A very pleasing supple wine that is at peak. Lovely.

  • Nice - ripe, round black cherry, anise, glycerin, black pepper. As it should be with a dash of elegance.
