Wine-Strategies note is spot on! This wine drinks above the tariff I got it for and is drinking so very well now. Ample complexity and integrated oak make for an intriguing finish of spiced fruit, earth and a glycerin finish. This is showing no signs of slowing down.

We really enjoyed this wine. Enjoyed over the course of an evening with minimal decanting. Excellent Washington fruit - black cherry and berry with a rich finish of dark chocolate and cinnamon.

Slow O 2 hours. Medium ruby core that gently transitions to the rim. Aromas of blackberry pie, red currant, earth, vanilla, light spice. Complex, engaging, seamless with a substantial mid-palate, silky tannins and an extended finish. Drinks above its price-point, should cellar well in the mid-term. The extended French oak treatment is just lovely, not overbearing, abv is well integrated. A lovely drop with a mouthfeel that keeps drawing you in. All 5 BDX grapes are in here, the completeness of the wine is most enjoyable. 14,2% abv, recommended, drink thru 2017.
