  This wine has developed splendidly over the past 23 years and is drinking extremely nicely right now. Almost sautern like in it's sweetness but with a beautiful core of acid that serves as the perfect foil. Paired as well with a powerful blue cheese appetizer as with the spicy mango glazed BBQ chicken. Deep dark golden color, almost a petroleum nose (see Clare Valley Australian Reisling), wonderful fruit on the palate balanced by the sharp thread of acid that runs the entire length of this wine. Long finish. Worth the wait!
